Description :

IL-8 is a proinflammatory CXC chemokine that can signal through the CXCR1 and CXCR2 receptors. It is secreted by monocytes and endothelial cells. IL-8 chemoattracts and activates neutrophils. Recombinant human IL-8 (endothelial-derived) is an 8.9 kDa protein containing 77 amino acid residues.

Stability :

The lyophilized protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -200C. Reconstituted IL-8 is stable for at least 3 months when stored in working aliquots with a carrier protein at -200C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Endotoxin Level :

Endotoxin level is less than 0.1 ng per µg (1EU/µg).

Biological Activity :
