Abcam’s anti-Annexin V Human in vitro ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is designed for accurate quantitative measurement of Human anti-Annexin V antibody concentrations in cell culture supernatant.
A 96-well plate has been precoated with Annexin V to which cognate antibodies bind. Standards or test samples are added to the wells and incubated. A horseradish peroxidase (HRP) labeled Annexin V conjugate is added to the wells, which is bound by the immobilized Annexin V-specific antibodies. TMB is then catalyzed by the HRP to produce a blue color product that changes to yellow after adding an acidic stop solution. The density of yellow coloration is directly proportional to the amount of anti-Annexin V antibodies sample captured in the plate.
